Because if you're gonna have a fight, it might as well destroy the continent you're having it on. Both these characters have in common that they're spiritual fusions of two powerful characters, so I thought it'd be interesting to see them duke it out. Street fighter sometimes has that insanely powerful secret character you play as by selecting random, and I thought REBIRTH fit the bill perfectly for that. I went with a Street Fighter Alpha 3 style for this one.
